Overview
Every client has a different need, different set of business problems to solve, different goals for the solutions that they want to build. We harness the power of latest technologies like the Microsoft .NET Platform, Web Services, XML, XHTML, CSS, Ajax, SilverLight, WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) in the right standards compliant mix, to solve the business problems for our clients.

We follow the following process while building solutions:
1) Goal Setting
We work along with the client understand their business processes and problems. Help them evaluate the various factors that could be automated, making the comprehensive solution scope with clear achievable goals.

2) Requirement Analysis
Detailed requirement analysis of the business processes and problems are made, keeping in mind the technical and business strategy of the goal. During this phase one of the key factors is kept in mind is the audience who will use the solution and their working habits. All the requirements are documented, any assumptions made during this process are reviewed, acknowledged and the complete requirements document is prepared and approved by the client.

3) Project Design and Architecture
Once the requirements document is mutually agreed by both the parties, the project architecture and design documents are prepared. The client gets the complete picture of the application, its features, and its limitations in these documents.

4) Iterative Development
We are strong believers of iterative development and test driven development. We work in various iterations with deep involvement of our clients. On every iteration we conduct design reviews and validation. Demos are setup at key points in the project.

Iterative development is an approach to building software where the overall life cycle of the project is composed of several iterations in sequence. Each iteration is a self-contained mini-project composed of activities such as requirement analysis, designing, programming and testing. The goal for the end of an iteration is an iteration release, a stable, integrated and tested partially complete system.

5) Application Pilot
Once the application is completed we run a application pilot for couple of weeks. This gives our clients enough testing time to get used to the product, its features and ensure that the application has been delivered as per specifications.

6) Client Acceptance
At the end of the Application Pilot period, once the client agrees that the application has been delivered as per the clients requirements and is functioning correctly we get an acceptance sign-off from our clients closing the project.

Application Maintenance and Bug Fixes
We understand that clients require not only the application to be built but also they would like to ensure smooth maintenance and bug fixes after the application acceptance. AksTech provides comprehensive policies tailored to the client’s requirements to handle maintenance and bug fixes after the application sign-off.

Project Tracking
One of the primary concerns to off-shore development is to track the project and associated costs closely as the project progresses. Besides detailed status reports and schedules, AksTech provides its client’s free access to our AksTech Client Suite. The Client Suite has been developed primarily to help you track the project in real time! The Client Suite provides you with a variety of tools to track the schedules, project documents, project installers online.

Source Code and Documentation
Every client wants the freedom to own all Intellectual Property in the applications they get developed – at AksTech, we believe in giving the client the freedom and control. If the project requires, we can deliver the fully commented source code files with the necessary documentation to our clients.
